PITA is committed to helping the Commonwealth sustain technology development activities that enable long-term economic growth through new enterprise creation. PITA has a long track record of working with existing start-up companies and contributing to the development brand new start-ups. The program’s mission of promoting the development of new technologies has led to new companies and the commercialization of those new technologies. To date, 15 new spin-off companies are affiliated with PITA-supported technologies.
